Project Patriot: Preserving the Voices of Service and Sacrifice
Every service member carries a unique story of dedication, resilience, and sacrifice. Project Patriot is a dedicated multimedia oral history initiative designed to honor and preserve the firsthand accounts of American veterans and current servicemen and women. By combining compelling portrait photography with high-quality audio and video interviews, we are collecting and safeguarding these invaluable first-person narratives for generations to come.
History lives in the details of those who experienced it. This project is inclusive of all eras and branches of service—from the battlefields of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, to the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, Iraq conflicts, and peacetime service. We also proudly collect the vital, often untold stories of the civilians who supported these wartime efforts on the homefront.
