My high school says I HAVE to use the school's contract photographer. Do I? Absolutely not. While Central Virginia schools have specific cropping and background requirements for the yearbook layout, you have the right to choose your own photographer for your actual senior pictures. We specialize in creating custom portraits that truly reflect who you are, and we can easily provide the required professional shot for your yearbook staff.
When should I have my senior photos taken? Our Charlottesville senior photography season runs from March before your senior year through the fall. Booking as early as possible ensures you secure your preferred season, peak weather, and a timeline that works best for you.
How long does a senior photography session take? There are no rigid time limits! We keep shooting until we have captured a stunning variety of images and have achieved the exact creative look we set out to create.
Can I bring someone with me to my portrait shoot? Of course! A parent, guardian, or friend is always welcome to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. We just ask that you limit it to one guest to keep the focus on you.
Do you offer professional hair and makeup services? Yes! We partner with a professional local hair and makeup artist available upon request. If you prefer to do your own, we recommend a clean, natural look with a subtle emphasis on your eyes and lips.
